Blow-Fill-Seal, commonly abbreviated as BFS, is an automated packaging process that completes three main operations inside one machine:
A plastic tube or parison is extruded.
The container is formed inside a mold.
The product is filled and the container is sealed.
Because the container is created immediately before filling, there is no need to purchase, wash and transfer pre-formed plastic containers through several separate production stages.
